updates ppl!!

tmr is friday..my 3rd friday......been working in the company for 3 weeks....my colleagues are friendly...

i'm satisfied with my job as well....well..i'm in the R&D department of the company..and i'm responsible for the RF section of the R&D department where we need to design antenna for the company or the company's customer.....

and my work place..."ichiban"....u see...my section got 5 of us RF engineer..so 5 of us dun work in the office...we work in the lab..where each of us has a network analyser...and we have 2 anechoic chamber for measurement purposes....one chamber able to measure 2D while another is able to measure 3D.....

so 10 hours of work....1 hour for lunch...half an hour for check email...the rest of the hours...we will be in lab..doing purely design and measurement job.....paper work.....i would say minimum..we dun do paper work...

so my 1st day...boring.......read company procedure....this and tat..oh ya..i had lunch with 2 boss on my 1st day of work..not bad eh?? lol!!!

but 2nd day...my boss handed me one project already...and i started work straight away.... :D until today my boss asked me to finalize my project and before came back... he passed me another project to do.. :)

oh ya....my boss's boss's secretary is HOT!!!!!!!!!!

asked my colleague about her....demmit..she's married and has a child dy..but still..she's HOT!!!

just now..when i went toilet..i saw my boss's boss peeing also...

"HI" he said to me..

i was so tempted to say " HI, Mr XX..how r u doing..oh..btw..u have a super duper hot secretary there....."

but i didnt...

i just said " HI"

sigh..

well..tat's all for the update...

tmr will be going St Anne church for St Anne dunnu wat event...

my family, grandma, aunties, uncles, cousins will go too..

its a freaking family gathering...

Summary of my job hunting quest

jobs applied : 100 ++ ( 76 are through JobStreet, 20+ are through companies' website)

okay okay..alot of u will think...wat the fuck are u doing?? 100++ jobs applied...crazy ar...yeap..am trying to apply as many jobs as possible..how i know...all i thought tat time was to get a job...so tembak je la....as long as the requirement for the job is "degree in electronic or telecommunication"

Called for interview : 6 ( went to 4, rejected 2; 4 from website, 2 from JobStreet)

the interviews started to come 4 weeks ago(after i finish my exam)....which means every week i had one interview..until the fifth week(this week)..i got my job offer...why i rejected 2 interviews...well..1 interview was in KL..which i applied 1 month ago when i was still in KL...so now i'm back to my home town..lazy to go down KL to attend interview....another one....because i already got offered..oh ya..ppl told me that its useless to apply throught JobStreet as i wont get call up for interview...i guess they are wrong..one of my job offer was from the application through JobStreet..now who say JobStreet cant get you a job?

job offered : 2 ( 1 in mainland, 1 in island; 1 from JobStreet, 1 from website)

I decided to choose the one in mainland because of the job scope, higher pay and also i can save on my petrol and tol for bridge.....coz its just 10 mins from my house only.... :D :D

duration of the quest : from 9th of March 2007 to 5th of July 2007 (freaking 4 long months)

oh yea...4 long months...started to apply through JobStreet..but seriously...its all depends on ur timing and luck.....


when i was signing the contract in front of the HR manager....

"Oh ya..please write down the date that u going to start work and sign it"

"Ouh kay.....so what date shud i write??"

"write 9th of July....which is next monday"
