chinese ppl and CNY

well well....been stick to the tv for past few days...all thanks to australia open....i pratically watch from the time i wake up until dinner time at 8...dunnu why after i took the tennis subject last semester...and after knowing all the extra rules and things about tennis...my interest on tennis start growing....

btw...cny is around the corner and i remember there was one day when i had dinner wif my parents.....this kopitiam lady chit-chat wif my parents..

parents :"..sing jia ai kao liao lo...lor pi lang pai mi kia kai ceh nia...ai pak cia pun kang kor ar.."
(new year coming....ppl are selling things along the road and its hard to get parking)

aunty :"si lor si lor.....ta ta lang kong ar...bo lui ..bo lui..tapi sing jia mah si anneh kuan beh anneh che mi kia..."
(yalor yalor...everyone complaining no money but when new year coming..they will buy so many things)

man..this is a dem dem dem true fact about chinese ppl..they keep saying they dun have money..but when cny coming...new sofa la...new tv la...new car la....new fridge la...new renovation la.....some even new house

no matter how poor are they..chinese ppl will definately find some extra cash to celebrate CNY...even they don have money to buy new furnitures or new tv..but they will still have some cash for ang pao...for cookies...clothes for the family...for bak gua..(at least 1 new shirt for each of the family members to wear during the 1st day of cny)

so where got "i have no money to celebrate chinese new year" ??

here they tell u they dun have money to celebrate chinese new year

behind....they buy like nobody business

but chinese ppl are like this...when they dun have extra money to buy new furnitures or new car or new tv ..they'll just say

"aiyo..chinese new year how to celebrate....no money laa.....aiyooo"

yeala....so dun believe anyone of them if they say they don have money during Chinese New Year period....
