Rule Of 3

hola hola hola.....1 week of absent make my blog abit dull.....i dunnu why......just dun feel like blogging for past few days...so i keep delaying my post until today...

so..today during lunch..i was watching this american pie 2....actually it was my 4th or 5th times watching this movie..but still...i like the movie alot...including the 1st episod(American Pie 1) and the 3rd episod(American Wedding)....while watching the movie...they mention about this Rule Of 3 thing....they said...if the guy say how many girl he slept wif....minus or divide by 3...u'll get the answer...or the girl say how many guy she slept wif..times or plus by 3 and u'll get the answer....after watching the movie...i planned to carry out this survey...see wheter this Rule Of 3 is true or they just bullshitting.....

so after dinner...i started my survey by asking my frends thru yahoo msger....the question i asked was

Let's say u ate 10 oranges,and when ppl ask u how many oranges u ate...how many
will u say if u wanna lie about the amount of oranges u ate..??

i dunnu oranges can be the same case as the movie( how many guys or girls they slept wif)
but the result i got was....out of 15 ppl i asked.....7 ppl gave me the answer from 2 to 3...while others......the answers they gave were quite different..some said 10..some said 1....some said 7 some said 12 and some even said 20....

for those who answered 2 to 3..it seems tat their answer is more likely to prove the rule is correct..as 3*3 = 9 or 2*3 = 6...which both near 10...(ok...some will say 6 is nowher near 10..but 2 and 3 is quite near to each other..so i take it as a yes..)......one girl answered 7 which is also can prove the rule is correct as 10 - 3 = 7

btw....when i was asking question to my frend...i got some funny answers.....

"erm..i'll say few oranges....."

"erm...i'll say 20 becoz if i wanna lie..i'm going to say out the number ppl dont believe"

"erm..for me..i wont lie..."

"say 10 lo, sure ppl won't believe one ma, so they won't know i actually did eat 10 oranges"

"i never ate"


haha..i'm not making fun of those who gave me those answers.....i'm totally respect the answers u guys gave and i realise that....we cannot judge ppl by followibg on rules or guidelines......different ppl...different character..that's why i got such a variety of answers....and i believe that's what makes the world so special and unique....

p/s: i know some will say this survey is stupid and waste of time...but wat the hell..i was too boring that time....again..thanks everyone who make their time for my this stupid survey......
